1. About us

This website is operated by DANA Cosmetics. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to DANA Cosmetics. DANA Cosmetics is a sole trader business based at Cidercourt Road, Crumlin, BT29 4XH, Northern Ireland. You can contact us at hello@danacosmetics.co.uk.

By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms of service.

2. Using our site

You may use our site for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable law, or that is fraudulent, harmful or malicious.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any lawful reason, at any time.

3. Ordering

You may check out as a guest or create an account, whichever you prefer. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and issue a full refund.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, and to refuse or cancel any order.

4. Product information

We work hard to describe our products accurately. Colours shown on screen may vary from the product itself depending on your device and screen settings. Shade descriptions and swatches are provided as a guide.

Because our products are handmade in small batches, slight natural variations in colour, texture and scent can occur between batches. This is a feature of small-batch production and not a fault.

Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a skin condition or are pregnant, please consult a healthcare professional before use.

5. Patch testing and allergies

We recommend patch testing any new product on a small area of skin before full use. Full ingredient lists are provided on every product page and on the product packaging. Please read them carefully if you have known allergies or sensitivities.

Stop using a product immediately if you experience irritation, and contact us.

6. Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our products.

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, and if a product is listed at an incorrect price we will contact you before dispatching your order.

7. Payment

Payment is taken at the point of order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store your card details.

8. Delivery and returns

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Refund and Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, product descriptions, photographs, logos, and the DANA Cosmetics name and branding, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our written permission.

10. Reviews and submissions

If you submit a product review or other content to our site, you grant us the right to use, publish and edit it. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience of the product, and must not contain unlawful, offensive or defamatory material. We reserve the right to remove any review that breaches this.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law. This includes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected by these terms.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products.

12. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including postal disruption, extreme weather, supply shortages or ingredient availability.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
